What To Do After I Have Been Approved As A Mentor?

Once Approved:

Complete the Mentor Certification Course!

If the Mentor application is approved, a confirmation email is sent including a link and invitation to take the Mentor Certification Course in your eXp learning platform. You are required to complete this course to become certified. You may complete the course on your own time/schedule, but the sooner you complete the course the sooner you will become certified. Mentee requests for mentors will be held for two weeks. Please complete the Mentor Certification Course within two weeks after broker approval in order for the mentee request to be honored. 

 The eXp learning course includes: 

  • Recorded lecture slides with an audio explanation of mentor roles, expectations, as well as responsibilities and Program policies

  • A brief quiz of the material covered

  • A pledge at the end to confirm you agree to the mentor role and want to proceed to become certified 

After completing the online course, you will be processed for certification

  • Certification processing takes 7-10 business days on average. Please do not send an email to check on your status during this time! 

  • You will know that you are fully certified when you receive a “Congratulations Mentor” email from no-reply@exprealty.com 

  • If you do not receive a congratulatory email 7-10 days after completing your eXp learning course, please first check your spam folder. If you cannot locate a congratulatory email from no-reply@exprealty.com, please send an email to MentorProgram@exprealty.net to check on your status. Please include in your email that you have finished the Mentor Certification course at this time, and your date of completion.  

 

Once your certification is processed, you will be fully certified and an active eXp Certified Mentor!

You will know that you are certified once you receive the congratulatory email. This email includes information about your next steps as a mentor, including:

  • Supplementary classes that we encourage you to take

  • eXp learning platform reporter access for monitoring and viewing your mentees' progress

  • Access to the Certified Mentors Workplace group and Mentor Resource Guide

Once certified, you will be shown as available in the system for new mentor pairing requests for new agents. If you have a specific mentee you would like to request to work with please send an email to MentorProgram@exprealty.net with their full name and eXp email address. Please only request mentees after they are FULLY onboarded with eXp.
