Lead Ownership in kvCORE

Lead Ownership in kvCORE

kvCORE assigns ownership of leads depending on how and where the lead information was captured before adding to an agent's CRM

How to check

This is something you can view in your Smart CRM. There is a columns button that allows you to display additional information regarding the leads in your smart CRM.

Agent  = who the lead is assigned to

Owned by = Where the lead originated and who is owner of the lead. This means that the owner has the ability to reassign the lead and remove it from your CRM. That the lead is just shared with you if your name does not display in that column.

Types of Lead Ownership and what that means

Company -

The lead registered on an eXp Corporate site or called the smart number connected to a eXp Realty kvCORE corporate site.

      * eXp Realty as a brokerage does not retain or reassign ownership of these leads. This is a product of the round robin rules set at the corporate sites and the smart numbers attached to the corporate site. All this affects is that you can not delete these leads, they have to be archived. If you request a copy of your leads from your CRM these will be included in the export.

Team Name -

The lead registered on a teams kvCORE team addon website or through an API connection that is set up at the kvCORE team addon level.

You will see the kvCORE team name listed in the "Owned By" Column.

If your agent account is currently connected to a kvCORE team addon you may see this quite frequently as leads coming into the kvCORE team addon are assigned to you.

Team Admins for the kvCORE team have the ability to view and manage these leads. This includes reassigning leads to a different agent connected to the team, transferring ownership of the lead to an agent, assigning campaigns, set listing alerts or communicate with the lead through the kvCORE system.

If your agent account is no longer connected to a kvCORE team addon and you have leads in your CRM still owned by the team please work with that team's admin to either have them transfer ownership of the lead to you or for you to transfer ownership back to the team admin. As an agent, if you request an export of your leads from your smart CRM, team owned leads will not be included.

Team Admins: If you would like the leads to remain owned by the team do not transfer your leads. You will want to share leads with the agents connected to your team.

Agent Name -

The lead registered on an agent site or was connected to an agent's CRM via an API connection (Zillow, Realtor.com) or any other type of direct link or registration that is specific to the agent.

You may see your name or another agent's name here.

If another agent that means they have shared this lead with you. Agents who's kvCORE account is connected to the same corporate site have the ability to share leads.

kvCORE has a great article on how to share leads HERE

If a lead has been shared with you by another agent and then is removed from your CRM, this just means the owner of the lead has decided to no longer share with you. You will no longer have access to the lead and it will no longer display in your Smart CRM.
