What to Do If You Receive a "Property Already Submitted" Error
If you encounter an error message stating that a property has already been submitted, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Clear Your Browser Cache & Close Unused Tabs
Ensure you are using Google Chrome as your browser.
Clear your cache and cookies to refresh your session.
Close any unused tabs before attempting to submit again.
2. Check Your Dashboard & Confirm Submission Order
Before resubmitting, check your ExpressOffers dashboard to see if the property is already in your system.
Navigate to the ExpressOffers platform and look under these tabs:
"Opendoor" Tab – If the Opendoor offer is still active, the status will show "Submitted" as long as the offer is still valid.
"Opendoor" Tab (Convertible Status) – If the Opendoor offer has expired and you are a certified agent, you will see the property in "Convertible" status, allowing you to submit it to the general marketplace.
"ExpressOffers" Tab – If the property does not qualify for an Opendoor offer or has been converted from Opendoor, a draft will only be created if you start the submission process but do not complete it. Agents have 24 hours to complete their draft before it is deleted.
All properties must be submitted to Opendoor first before they can be sent to the general marketplace.
Attempting to bypass this step or submitting multiple times may result in the "property already submitted" error.
3. If the Property Was Submitted by Another Agent
If none of the troubleshooting steps resolve the issue, another agent may have already submitted the property.
To verify, email expressoffersteam@exprealty.com with your signed Opt-In Form, and we will confirm the submission details.
By following these steps, you can quickly troubleshoot the issue and determine the best course of action for submitting your property successfully.
