Translating Knowledge Base Articles in Chrome

For agents that prefer to read knowledge base articles in their native language, Google Chrome has a feature that will translate the knowledge base site for you. This article will provide the steps necessary to set the language you'd like to use for translation.

This feature does not translate the text within images. You will still see English represented in images provided throughout the knowledge base. 

1. Go to the site you want to translate and open the Chrome menu by clicking on the ellipsis at the top right of the window. Once the menu is open, select the translate option.

2. After selecting Translate from the menu, a smaller window will pop up above showing your currently detected language. From here you can click the ellipsis within that pop up box to open the translations options menu. From here you'll select the option to choose another language and then select your preferred language for translation from the list.

3. After selecting your preferred language click translate to confirm your selection. Once confirmed you'll see your preferred language shown as the detected language in the translation window.

4. The site should now present in your selected preferred language. As you navigate throughout the site this selection should be maintained.
