The instructions in this article are for international eXp Agents who's email accounts are on the Zoho Mail platform. To see if your account is on the Zoho Mail platform, you can log into your Okta account at
https://exprealty.okta.com to verify if a zoho tile has been provided on your account.
Email forwarding is a feature that allows agents to forwards emails from their eXp inbox to another email account/inbox. When IMAP and/or POP connections aren't available for use, this can serve as an alternative way to manage email from a preferred email client or service.
To set up email forwarding follow the steps outlined below.
Once you've accessed your eXp Mail dashboard, you'll want to navigate to the settings menu using the gear icon on the top right.
From the settings menu, scroll down on the left side until you find Mail Accounts and select it to access the configuration settings. Then select the Forwards section/tab on the upper right.
Under the Forwards section you'll need to specify the email address you'd like to have you're emails forwarded to. Once you've entered the email address in the box and hit enter on your keyboard you'll see the selected email address listed underneath but grayed out. It'll remain this way until verified.
To verify your selected forwarding email address you'll need to open the confirmation email sent to it. Within that email you'll find a verification code needed to complete the process. It'll look similar to what is shown below.
Copy the code and then return Zoho Mail and click verify next to the chosen forwarding email address in the configuration menu.
Enter the code in the box that appears and click Confirm.
After confiming your forwarding address you'll see that it's no longer grayed out and you have the ability to toggle forwarding off/on for the added address as well as remove the address completely by clicking the trashcan to the right of the address. Further down you'll also notice that you have the option to "delete original email copies after forwarding." If you don't intend to log into your eXp Mail using the Zoho Mail user interface to manage your inbox, it's recommended that you select this option to prevent your inbox strorage from filling completely, potentially causing missed, late or lost emails.
All set! Email forwarding has been successfully set up for your eXp email inbox and you should start receiving correspondence at the selected forwarding address.
It can take a few minutes for emails to be forwarded. If they don't show up right away after seeing them in the eXp Mail inbox, check after a few minutes.
