How Is A Personal Sales Transaction Handled In The Mentor Program?
All transaction types
(except referrals that are directed to another agent) are permitted within the Mentor
Program, providing there is a minimum commission of $250 paid to both the Mentor and the Mentor Program. For more detailed information about the program's rules and requirements, please reach out to the Mentor Program at mentorprogram@exprealty.net.
If the Mentee earns a commission on the buying side, the transaction follows the standard setup, based on the commission shown in MLS documentation. If the Mentee is the listing agent, taking no commission, and would like the transaction to be a qualifying transaction for graduation, the compensation to the mentor and program will be calculated at a rate of 10% of the 3% sales price (the calculation for gross commission income). Both the mentor fee and the program fee will apply.
