For Agents: Things To Remember When Being Removed From a kvCORE Team Account
Being a part of a Team in kvCORE affects a number of things about your account. For that reason, when you leave a kvCORE Team and want to keep your kvCORE account with eXp, there are some things you should be aware of.
Being Removed From The Team
- When you are ready to be removed from a Team in kvCORE, it is essential that you speak with your Team Leader or Team Admin. They must remove you from the Team Account.
- eXp Realty Support does not remove Agents from Team accounts. We direct them back to their Team Leader or Admin for removal. The reason for this is lead ownership. Often, when an Agent is a part of a Team but decides to leave, the Team Admin must reassign or move Team leads. Additionally, Team Admins and Agents sometimes have to work through how to serve other leads best.
- If you have reached out to Team Leader about being removed and they are unresponsive, please reach out to your State Broker. They can assist with reaching out to the Team Leader and have escalation paths if the Team Leader doesn't respond.
It is important to note the Tech Support Team does not get involved in any Team, lead ownership, or account removal disputes. The Tech Support Team will not remove you from a Team. They also cannot transfer ownership of leads (the system does not allow it).
Lead Ownership
- With any account, Agents own and get to keep the leads they own.
- Being a part of a Team, you might have access to leads that are only assigned to you, but you don't own them. The Team Leader can, at any time, move, delete, or reassign any leads they own. If you leave a Team, you will not be able to keep Team owned leads. Additionally, even if export your leads, Team leads will not be included in that export.
Lead Privacy During The Transition
- It is important to remember that most Teams allow their Agents to make their Lead "Private".
- If you are leaving a Team and don't want the Team Leader to see or have access to your lead anymore, consider making them Private. Learn how to make your leads private by reading this article.
