Welcome to eXp.World, our next-generation metaverse platform. This guide will help you access, navigate, and customize your virtual workspace.

🚀 Getting Started

Access eXp.World

• Open in Chrome (recommended) or Edge

• Safari (for iPhone only)

• Sign in with OKTA using your eXp login credentials

Navigation Basics

• Move → Arrow Keys or W / A / S / D

• Look Around → Mouse

• Quick Move → Double-click a spot

• Teleport → Use the Go To menu (top of screen)

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Avatar & Profile Setup

Set Up Your Profile

1. Open the Hamburger Menu (top-right).

2. Select Profile → upload your photo.

Customize Your Avatar

• Human Avatar → Basic customization (clothes, hair, etc.)

• Ready Player Me → No longer available as of January 2026

Tips

• Rotate avatar → Click + drag

• Switch view → Press V

Ready Player Me Setup

1. Hamburger Menu → Avatar Settings → Ready Player Me.

2. Upload your photo, customize features, select outfit.

3. Click Next (top-right) to save.
   ⚠️ Changes may take up to 24 hours to appear.

💬 Communication Features

Text Chat

• Open Chat (top-left)

• Main → Everyone

• Zone → People nearby

• Private → Direct message (anywhere in-world)

Extras:

• 📎 Attach images/files

• ⚙️ Translate messages

Audio & Mic

• 🎤 Microphone (toolbar): Yellow = on, White = off

• 📢 Megaphone: Broadcast further (not through private zones with blue borders)

Webcam & Screen Share

• Webcam → Camera icon → Yellow Sparkle → Streaming Screen → Share Webcam

• Screen Share → Yellow Sparkle → Streaming Screen → Share Screen → Select window/tab

  • To include audio → choose browser tab + enable audio

📱 Mobile Access

• Android → Use Chrome

• iPhone → Use Safari

Steps:

1. Go to eXp.World in your browser → click Connect

2. Move → Joystick, click & drag, or touch controls

3. Use camera, chat, people menu, and Go To

🏢 Spaces & Offices

Create a New Space

1. Log in → Hamburger Menu → + New Frame

2. Name your space (lowercase + hyphens only)
   ⚠️ Cannot be renamed later

3. Select environment → Create Frame

4. Copy/share the URL (you’re admin, can assign others)

Customize Your Office

• Use ADD ASSET Sparkle → add text, whiteboards, images, videos, etc.

• ✏️ Pencil tool → Move items, snap to surface

• 🔒 Lock → Secure items in place

• 🗑️ Trash → Remove items

📽️ Presenter Tools

• Add a Streaming Screen or PDF

• Share screen → Up Arrow next to Trash icon

• A preview window shows what attendees see

• PDFs → Navigate pages with arrows
