Can The Mentor Fee Or Number Of Mentored Transactions Required Be Negotiated?

The mentor fee CANNOT be negotiated under any circumstance. Agents may not negotiate, barter services, or give gifts in order to waive the fees. To qualify, all required transactions must be completed in the licensed primary state with eXp. The mentee cannot select the transactions on which the Mentor Program 20% fee is paid.

The number of transactions to close CANNOT be negotiated by the mentee and/or mentor. Should a mentor deem that a mentee is ready to be an independent agent before they meet the transaction requirements to graduate, they are welcome to contact the State Broker Team to make a request to graduate the mentee early from the Program. Should the State Broker Team approve, the Mentor Program staff will graduate the mentee from the Program early and compensation commitments to the mentor will end on any transactions going forward from the date approval is received.

Should a mentor deem that the mentee might not be ready to graduate after their required transactions have closed, the mentor should then contact the State Broker Team directly to request an extension of the Program requirement for this mentee. The decision to extend for one/multiple transactions is made by the State Broker Team.
